Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH, and make a difference in patient care! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to work in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients requiring intermediate-level treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the PCU/Step Down unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications preferred.
- Skills in conscious sedation, ventilator management, and telemetry.
- EPIC experience is required.
This position requires working nights, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends every other week. The estimated patient ratios are 1:3, ensuring a manageable workload to provide the best care possible.
