Role: As a Sonographer, you will perform mobile ultrasound services, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images are obtained for physician orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Self-dispatching or coordinating with the dispatch department for case loads.
  • Arriving at the first case at the start of your assigned shift.
  • Unloading portable sonographic equipment and conducting exams.
  • Processing ultrasounds and digitally sending them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Maintaining communication with clients and dispatch regarding case updates.
  • Ensuring accuracy of orders and patient identification before exams.
  • Maintaining high standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
  • Keeping sonographic equipment and vehicle in good condition.
  • Training other technologists as required.
