What You'll Do: As a Psych RN, you'll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality mental health care and crisis management to a diverse patient population. You'll leverage your clinical skills to foster recovery and support mental well-being, all while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of one year of psychiatric nursing experience
- Valid RN license for the state of NJ
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric care and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in acute psychiatric or inpatient settings
- Knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities
- BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- At least one year of relevant psychiatric nursing experience in a hospital or similar setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work night shifts (7:45 AM – 4:15 PM)
- Orientation lasts four weeks
- No significant travel required
