About the Facility:

  • Licensed Beds: 244
  • Emergency Department: 16 beds
  • ICU: ~20 beds
  • Progressive Care: ~40 beds
  • Operating Rooms: 16 suites
  • No Trauma designation
  • Accredited by TJC for Stroke Care

Department Information:

  • Inpatient Census: Typically 100% capacity - 224
  • Average Studies Per Day: 120 (more during the week, less on weekends)
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 2 years
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

  • ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients
  • Imaging services provided in ED, Fluoroscopy, OR (c-arm, O-arm, G-arm), and portables

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
  • BLS certification

Skills Required:

  • Experience in Fluoroscopy, OR, and portable imaging
  • Emergency department experience/flow

Support within the Department:

  • Guest Services/Transport for Inpatient & Observation patients

Technology/Equipment:

  • EMR: EPIC
  • RIS: Epic Radiant
  • PACS: Philips iSite
  • Department Specific Equipment: Philips Diagnost R/F Intelli C, R/F Shimadzu RadSpeed, GE OEC Elite C-arms, and more

Orientation:

  • Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review, etc.) – 1 day
  • Departmental onboarding – 2 days to 1 week (as needed)

Scheduling:

  • On Call: Yes, 2 shifts per month (if needed)
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • RTO: Manager approval required
