We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Exeter, NH. This is a contract position with a focus on providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting and must possess Epic experience, along with current ACLS and BLS-AHA certifications. This role requires the ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every third weekend required.
As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for managing a 10-bed ICU, caring for critically ill adult patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical needs, respiratory failure, sepsis, and more. You will also encounter pediatric critical care situations, as the ICU may manage some ill children before transferring them to larger tertiary pediatric centers if necessary. Additionally, you will care for stroke patients, as the facility is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and offers tele-stroke/tele-neurology services.
