Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Saint Paul, MN. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work evening and night shifts, ensuring you make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients during critical moments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level 1 or Level 2, but all levels of trauma center experience will be considered.
- Active RN license in Minnesota.
- Current CPR (AHA only), ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS training available for certification).
- Must be able to float as needed within the ER.
- Availability to work every weekend (Friday-Sunday).
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
