We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a contract position in Rockford, IL. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience in a mid-large hospital setting. The unit averages 230 deliveries per month and is equipped with 14 labor rooms, 3 triage/overnight observation rooms, 2 operating rooms (ORs), and 3 post-anesthesia care units (PACUs). Additionally, there is a 4-bed OB Emergency Department (OBED) off the unit.
The position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. An active Illinois nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory for this role.
