Join a leading healthcare facility as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation. We are seeking experienced professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. Our facility is a certified Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, equipped to handle a diverse range of patient needs.

Unit Information:

  • Average patients/day: 170
  • Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years Respiratory Therapy experience
  • First-time travelers are welcome!

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

  • Infant - Geriatric

Required Licensure & Certifications:

  • BLS, NRP
  • RRT (will accept CRT if candidate has more than 3 years’ experience)
  • NC Licensure

Skills Required:

  • All aspects of Adult Critical Care required
  • Pediatrics and Infant Care preferred

Support within the Department:

  • Departmental Leadership
  • Hospitalist available 24/7
  • Virtual Critical Care after hours

Technology/Equipment:

  • EMR: EPIC
  • Med dispensing: Omnicell
  • Monitors: Masimo
  • Unit specific equipment: Servo I Ventilator, Trilogy Ventilator, Servo Air BIPAP, ABL Blood Gas Analyzers, Bubble CPAP

Floating:

  • Will be required to float per Region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – please decline if not agreeable:
  • Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mountain, Lincoln, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
  • If floating mid-shift, traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

Orientation:

  • NEO
  • 2 days departmental

Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation: every other
  • No call
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
  • Shift times: 7a-7p & 7p-7a
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
