Registered Nurse Corrections Somerset, PA

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Corrections, providing essential healthcare services in a county jail setting. This role offers a vital opportunity to deliver care in a high-volume environment, ensuring safety and well-being for inmates while supporting correctional staff.

Job Details:

  • Weekly pay: $2,566
  • Pay rate: $33/hr, OT at $50/hr available
  • Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Contract start date: 05/28 or every other week
  • Guarantee hours: 40 hours per week
  • Setting: Corrections facility in Somerset, PA

Required Skills:

  • Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Experience with adult patient care, preferably in corrections or high-volume settings
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and challenging environments with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior correctional healthcare experience
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Knowledge of inmate management and safety protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse diploma or higher in nursing
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in acute, mental health, or correctional settings

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess valid PA RN license
  • Ability to work in Somerset, PA
  • No travel required
