RN Corrections Pennsylvania, Waymart – Evening Shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM) Join a dedicated corrections nursing team at a leading corrections facility in Waymart, PA, providing care in a correctional environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with experienced professionals, utilizing your skills to ensure the safety and well-being of the facility's population.
Position Details:
- Weekly Pay: $2,566 (including stipends)
- Pay Rate: $33/hr, OT available at $50/hr
- Shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM, evenings, with a half-hour unpaid lunch
- Contract Length: 26 weeks starting August 3rd
- Overtime: Available
- Setting: Corrections facility in Waymart, PA
- Holiday work as scheduled, with rotating days off during the week
Required Skills:
- Active Nursing License (RN) in Pennsylvania
- 20+ years of recent experience in corrections or psychiatric nursing
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or others
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and handle a correctional setting environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in LTC, Rehab, Memory Care, Behavioral Health
- Previous corrections or psychiatric nursing experience
- Familiarity with multiple EMR platforms
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Extensive recent experience in correctional or behavioral health settings
Other Requirements:
- Travel required to Waymart, PA
- COVID-19 vaccination proof and government IDs (DL and SS)
- Willingness to work evenings and rotating days off
