Corrections RNs for Days or Nights needed in Vermont. We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care within a correctional facility setting. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the healthcare of inmates while ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates at the correctional facility.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and manage urgent health issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff to ensure safety and compliance with protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations within the correctional environment.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients while maintaining security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont RN license.
- Recent experience in adult healthcare; correctional healthcare preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings required for correctional access.
Additional Skills and Certifications:
- Prior correctional healthcare experience is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are desirable.
- Certifications such as CPR/BLS and First Aid preferred.
