Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ER) at a leading acute-care hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need.
As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the best outcomes for our patients. We are looking for dedicated professionals who thrive in high-pressure situations and have a passion for emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Current Illinois RN License.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience in an emergency or trauma setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including day and evening shifts.
- Compliance with the 50-mile radius rule.
