As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our 38-bed (28+10) multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest quality care to your patients, ensuring they receive the attention and expertise they deserve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families.
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
- Update and manage patient records.
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
- Follow guidelines and policies established by our nursing department.
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
Required Experience:
- 2 years of RN ICU experience.
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
Required Certifications:
- MA License
- BLS
- ACLS
LOCAL VS TRAVEL: Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be at a local rate; the local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
