Registered Nurse (RN) Psych Direct Care Pennsylvania Overview: We are seeking a qualified RN to fill a Psych Direct Care role in Selinsgrove, PA. This position involves providing direct patient care in a psychiatric setting, ensuring safety and effective treatment for individuals with mental health needs. The role offers consistent evening shifts and a reliable schedule for experienced nursing professionals looking to contribute to mental health services.
Job Details: Weekly Pay: $2,046 gross Pay Range: $20/hr, OT at $50/hr Shifts: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, evening hours Contract Length: Starts on 8/03 or every other week Weekly Stipend: $1,246 Overtime opportunities available Location: Selinsgrove, PA Setting: Psychiatric facility
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Experience in psychiatric or direct care nursing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with mental health patient treatment
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of relevant experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
Other Requirements:
- Must reside locally or be willing to commute
- Additional certifications related to mental health care are preferred
