Join a leading healthcare facility in Louisville, KY, as an MRI Tech specializing in outpatient MRI services. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment with a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth.

Unit Information: You will be responsible for managing an average of 12 patients per day, with 5-6 patients assigned to you daily. Experience in MRI technology is essential, and we welcome first-time travelers!

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: You will work with a diverse patient population, including neuro, brain/IAC, spine, body abdomen, pelvis, prostate, enterography, and MSK patients, while also supporting student athletes.

Required License and Certifications: Candidates must hold a BLS certification and either ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification. A Kentucky state license is preferred.

Skills Required: Ideal candidates will have experience with the patient types listed above and possess excellent patient care skills, along with a positive attitude.

Support within the Department: You will have access to radiologists 24/7 and work alongside other MRI techs. Depending on your shift, you may work solo.

MRI Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred. You will be using unit-specific equipment, including the Verio Floating system.

Orientation: A two-week orientation in the department will be provided to ensure you are fully prepared for your role.

Scheduling: Weekend rotations and holiday expectations will be based on unit needs, but there is no on-call requirement. Requests for time off will require manager approval.

Additional Notes: Scrub color is ceil blue, and free parking with badge access is available.
