Join a leading acute care hospital in Orange, CA, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Rehabilitation. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a MAGNET-designated facility with a total of 426 staffed beds. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing therapy and rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to patients in an acute care setting.
  • Perform modified barium swallow studies.
  • Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in weekend shifts as required (2 weekend shifts/month, may not be during the same weekend).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.
  • Stroke experience is required.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • California License is required (may apply with pending license).
  • RTO must be included at the time of submission.
