We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) to join our Surgical Services team in Columbus, OH. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians to contribute to high-quality patient care in a leading healthcare environment.
As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will be responsible for:
- Decontamination of all items, including drills, Davinci systems, and scopes.
- Assembly of all instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaners, with peel packaging included.
- Executing the sterilization process using both sterrad and steam methods.
- High-level disinfection (HLD) and scope experience.
- Managing sterile storage and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Acting as an OR liaison to facilitate communication and workflow.
- Utilizing the Censitrac tracking system for inventory management.
- Familiarity with endoscope reprocessing systems such as Medivator and Scope Buddy.
