Join a leading healthcare organization as the Director of Surgical Services in International Falls, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN Manager/Director to oversee the surgical department's operations, ensuring quality patient care and efficient service delivery.

Job Summary: The Director of Surgical Services provides oversight of day-to-day operations of the surgery department. They are responsible for the overall direction and management of the surgical services area, including pre-op, PACU, Operating room, central processing department, as well as the orthopedic and general surgery outreach clinics. The Director ensures that the department and its resources are managed in accordance with the facility's Mission, Vision, and Values and in compliance with regulatory organizations, external accrediting agencies, and licensing bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the surgical services department.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
  • Oversee pre-op, PACU, and operating room activities.
  • Coordinate with orthopedic and general surgery outreach clinics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current MN RN license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a surgery department.
  • Preferred: CNOR certification, Master’s degree in nursing or related field, and at least 3 years of previous management experience.

This is a contract position with guaranteed hours and competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $95,000 to $135,000 annually. The facility is committed to providing a supportive environment for its staff.
