Join our team as a Long-Term Care (LTC) LNA in Claremont, NH, where we are dedicated to making life better for our residents every day. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver essential nursing and restorative care under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering basic nursing and restorative care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Attending report prior to starting resident care and keeping licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care and environmental conditions.
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administering specified skin care treatments according to facility protocol and the Resident Care Plan.
- Providing assistance for ambulation and movement, including range of motion exercises, turning, positioning, and transferring residents.
- Supporting residents with nutrition and bodily waste management, including feeding, hydration, toileting, and caloric counts.
- Ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents by responding to emergency situations per facility policy.
- Maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy while complying with established nursing standards and policies.
- Utilizing infection control techniques and respecting the spiritual beliefs of residents.
- Encouraging residents to participate in their care to the best of their physical and mental abilities.
Note: COVID Vaccination Series is required for this position. Declinations/Exemptions are not accepted. This assignment is located 2 hours from Boston, MA, and Sullivan County will not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of the facility.
