Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 9
- Number of Staff: 7
- Patient Ratios: 5-9
- Type of Equipment: Vital signs machine, Hoyer lift, glucometer, IVs, bladder scanner, bed alarms, chair alarms, crash cart
- EMR: Cerner
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Most Recruited For: Behavioral Health and Medical Experience; a passion for caring for geriatric patients.
- Must Have: Caring and compassion, assessment skills, ability to work well on a team, critical thinking.
- Preferred/Nice to Have: Ability to de-escalate patients, flexibility.
