Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Case Management at a leading acute-care hospital in Wichita, KS. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Unit Information: The Case Management unit consists of 14 beds in both the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) and the Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The facility operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts required. The patient ratio is 1:14, ensuring manageable workloads for our dedicated staff.
General Information: We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1-year current acute care Case Manager RN experience, BLS certification, and an active Kansas nursing license. Preferred qualifications include experience with Midas and HCA case management, as well as prior experience in HCA hospitals.
Responsibilities: As a Travel RN in Case Management, you will be responsible for conducting case management assessments and discharge planning. You will work closely with consistent physicians and mid-level providers, ensuring a seamless transition for patients, particularly those in cardiac rehabilitation following CABG and TAVR procedures.
