We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN for the Emergency Department (ER) at a leading acute-care hospital in Houston, TX. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 50
  • Trauma II, Functioning as Comprehensive Stroke Center (survey pending), Chest Pain Center, Pathway to Excellence, Journey to Magnet
  • Type of Staff:
    • Day Shift - 1 CNC, 10 RNs, 1 LVN, 2 Paramedic, 2 PCT, 4 BHT
    • Night Shift - 1 CNC, 10 RNs, 1 LVN, 2 Paramedic, 2 PCT, 4 BHT
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Type of Equipment: GE Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • TNCC
  • Preferred or Nice to Have:
    • Trauma experience
    • Meditech experience

Typical Procedures Performed on Unit:

  • Trauma and ED procedures

Dress Code:

  • Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue
