Join a dynamic team as a Travel RN specializing in Pediatric care at a leading healthcare facility in Denver, CO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential care to pediatric patients. Our facility is known for its commitment to quality care and teamwork, making it an ideal place for dedicated healthcare professionals.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 36 - all private rooms with parent sleeping accommodations
  • Number of Staff: 60
  • Patient Ratios: Mixed care - step down patients (spinal fusions, chest tubes, high flow oxygen) are staffed 1:3, and basic care patients are staffed 1:4
  • Type of Equipment: Phillips Monitors
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have: Minimum 1-year current Pediatric RN experience, BLS & NRP certification, and comfort with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion, and chest tubes.
  • Preferred: Prior Meditech experience.

Typical Procedures Performed:

  • NGTs, Foleys, TP Tubes, PIVs, phlebotomy (Accuvein available)
  • Occasional LPs

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

  • On-site parking available, free of charge.
  • New travelers will be required to work night shifts; day shifts are not available for first contracts.
  • Candidates with multiple years of travel experience will be prioritized.
