Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 20
- Number of Staff: 51
- Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:1
- Type of Equipment: Philip monitor, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
Skill Set Most Recruited For: Travel RNs with local CNAs and sitters.
- Must Have: Minimum 1-year current PICU RN experience, BLS & PALS certifications.
- Preferred: Post-op cardiac experience, venous puncture skills.
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Conscious sedations
- Care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV)
- CT placement
- Central line maintenance and care
