Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 17
- Number of Staff: 12
- Day Shift: 3-4 RNs and 2 Patient Care Techs
- Night Shift: 3-4 RNs and 2 Patient Care Techs
- Patient Ratios: 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
- Type of Equipment: PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Minimum 1-year current Telemetry hospital experience, BLS & ACLS
- Preferred: Experience in large trauma facilities, prior Meditech experience
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Central lines
- Medication drips
- Heart Cath recovery
- Bubble studies
