Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Tallahassee, FL. Unit Profile:

  • Number of Beds: 39
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4
  • Unit Staffing Description: One unit secretary and 2-3 techs on the floor
  • Type of Equipment: Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitors
  • Documentation System: MediTech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 4-week schedule posts 2 weeks prior to start date, preferred three 12-hour shifts/week
  • Floating Policy: ER hold unit while at capacity, rare during summer months
  • Patient Experience Requirements: 30-1 hour patient rounding and bedside shift report

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Hiring Profile:

  • Requested Skill Set: Multi-task and throughput focused, teamwork
  • Must Have: 2 years ER experience
  • Advanced Skills Needed: Assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures
  • Procedures Performed on Unit: Chest tubes, Moderate sedation, LP, laceration repair, blood products
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Dress Code: Black Scrubs
