Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Kirksville, MO. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic critical care environment. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients during their most critical moments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Manage and monitor patients’ conditions, including drip titration and vent management.
- Occasionally float to other units as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of critical care experience required.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with balloon pump, Impella, and trauma care preferred.
- TNCC certification is a plus.
Additional Information:
- 48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested.
- Blocked scheduling may be requested.
- Patient ratio: 1:1-3 depending on acuity.
- Unit consists of 10 beds.
- No call requirements.
- EMR used: MedHost.
- Scrub color: any solid color.
