Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Kirksville, MO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00 for a duration of 13 weeks. With a focus on critical care, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical care nursing, including drip titration and vent management.
- Manage patients with various acuity levels, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:1-3.
- Occasionally float to other units as needed.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of critical care experience required.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Experience with balloon pumps, Impella, and trauma care is preferred.
- TNCC certification is preferred.
This position guarantees 48 hours per week and may offer blocked scheduling. The unit consists of 10 beds, and you will be working with the MedHost EMR system. Scrub colors are flexible, allowing any solid color. There are no call requirements associated with this role.
