Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Physical Therapist in the Rehabilitation unit in San Antonio, TX. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team. The facility features a 32-bed inpatient rehab unit with a supportive staff of approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses.
Unit Information:
- Staffing: Day Shift - 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 PCTs, 1 UC
- Patient Ratios: Expecting 5/12-6 hours of treatment
- Equipment: H200/L300, BURT
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Procedures Performed:
- ADLs, evaluations
- Usual inpatient rehab treatments
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Basic knowledge of inpatient rehab, initiative, and ability to work as part of a team
- Preferred: Previous experience in inpatient rehab, open to working weekends (minimum of 2 per 4-week period expected)
Best Personality Fit: Outgoing, flexible, knowledgeable.
Required Certifications: BLS
