- Number of Beds: 35
- Number of Staff: 11
- Patient Ratios: 1:5, 1:6
- Type of Equipment: Computer on Wheels, Hospira pumps, IMOBILE phones
- EMR: MEDITECH
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Bariatric procedures (Gastric bypass, Gastric Sleeves)
- Orthopedic Surgeries (Total hip replacements, Total knee replacements)
- General Surgery (Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic appendectomies)
Required Certifications:
- Active TX RN License
- BLS
Preferred Certifications:
- Bariatric Certification
- Med/Surg Certification
- Ortho Certification
- ACLS
Best Personality Fit: Team player with a positive attitude.
Floating Areas: Med/Renal, Oncology, Med/Surg Tele, CVTS, and Telemetry.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
- Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
Attendance Policies: Expected to work and float to other areas. Must complete 4 weekend shifts in a schedule or 2 full weekends.
