Join a leading healthcare provider as a Contract Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Austin, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team of professionals. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional care to neonatal patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in a fast-paced NICU setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced respiratory equipment, including Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.

Requirements:

  • Must have RRT or CRT certification.
  • Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
  • At least one year of adult respiratory experience.
  • Preferred: NICU experience.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 368
  • Staffing: 6 to 7 staff per shift, including a supervisor.
  • Patient Ratios: 35-45 units of service (UOS).
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Weekends: Every other weekend required.

Dress Code: Olive green scrub tops and black scrub pants.
