Join a leading healthcare facility in Hilo, HI, as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT). This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential imaging services to patients.
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidates must have a Hawaii License by the start of the assignment. Please note that no requests for time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract. Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.
Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required.
Certification: Candidates must hold a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
General Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting is mandatory. Candidates must be able to scan per radiologist protocols, perform at minimum routine CT scans, and function independently without supervision. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred. Additional experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, as well as procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.
