Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Columbus, OH. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide exceptional care in our intensive care unit. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
As an ICU RN, you will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, providing care for critically ill patients with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2. You will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. We value your expertise and commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC.
Requirements:
- 2 years of ICU experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
- Experience with telemetry, vents, and EPIC is essential.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Charge nurse experience and conscious sedation experience preferred.
