We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Everett, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment specializing in high-risk perinatal care, with comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, although first-timers are welcome to apply. This role requires flexibility, as weekend shifts and floating to postpartum may be necessary. The facility is committed to maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-laboring patient ratio and 1:3 couplets in postpartum care, supported by a team of CNAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and their families.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to postpartum as needed and assist with patient care.
Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
Unit Information: The facility features 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, and 2 PACUs. The triage area is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
Additional Information: This position does not require call, and locals are not accepted. Please include all RTO at the time of submittal. The facility offers EPIC charting and provides parking at no cost to staff.
