Join a leading acute-care hospital in Los Angeles, CA, as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN). This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate, with a commitment to providing exceptional care in a Magnet facility. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of mothers and their newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN required.
- First-timers accepted.
- No weekend requirement.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card, and CA state license.
- On-call requirement: No.
- Floating between like units is required.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
- Pending License accepted: No.
