Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN in Liberal, KS. This is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and their newborns. Our facility offers a supportive environment and a commitment to quality patient care.
Unit Specifics: Labor and Delivery: Postpartum: Special Care: Couplets: Nursery: OBGYN Post Ops. The unit overview includes 10 Beds LDRP and a Special Care Nursery Level II. Active labor is managed with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, while Postpartum Couplet Care is 3:1 and Latent Labor is 2:1.
Need Specifics: We are seeking L&D Night nurses for a 12-hour shift. Weekend requirements include every other weekend, and holiday coverage is also required every other holiday. Floating to MS4, ICU, ER, and Skilled Nursing is expected.
Pay Rate: A brand new RN with zero experience and no BSN starts off at $27.75. An RN with a BSN base is $29.25, plus additional compensation based on experience.
Education Requirements: BLS, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications can be obtained through the facility within 6 months of hire.
Additional Information: Jewelry must be kept to a minimum; visible face and/or body piercings (outside of traditional ear piercings and small nose studs) are not permitted while on duty. Examples of prohibited piercings include nose rings/hoops, eyebrow piercings, lip piercings, and cheek piercings.
Relocation Bonus: Up to $2,500 available, with proof of expenses required.
