*URGENT BACKFILL* This position is for a travel RN in the Med Surg unit at a leading acute-care hospital. The facility has been serving the region for over 120 years and is known for its commitment to making communities healthier. It is a 250-bed Academic Community Hospital and the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, accredited by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

The facility offers comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour emergency department services, a home health & hospice agency, an advanced wound healing center, a cardiac rehabilitation center, two cath labs, a day surgery center, and medical and radiation oncology.

Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Candidates must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel. All travelers must have the required certifications prior to starting, including BLS and NIH. Random drug screening will be conducted on-site, and a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form must be completed.

Danville, VA, is known as the World's Best Tobacco Market and offers small-town charm with city amenities. The area, referred to as The River District, is situated by the banks of the Dan River, featuring 680 acres of parks and trails that provide picturesque views, along with historical architecture, boutiques, art galleries, and museums. It is approximately 45 miles north of Greensboro, North Carolina.
