Position Information:
- Facility Department/Cost Center: Inpatient Nursing Unit 1
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Psychiatry
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
- Call Requirements: N/A
- Required Certifications: BLS, HWC, MANDT, TOVA-certified de-escalation/physical hold training
- Years of Experience: 2+
- Float Requirements: Serves all 3 units; child, adult, geriatric
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 72
- Patient Ratios: 1:10
- Equipment: Vitals machine, EKG, Bladder scanner, metal detector, AED
- EHR: Cerner
- Supervisor: child, adult, geriatric
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous Psych/BH experience.
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: MDD, Bipolar, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, etc.
- Personality Fit: team-oriented, flexible, patient-centered, self-aware, kind.
- Required Education: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in VA.

- Scrub Color: Navy
