Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) in New Haven, CT. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic Med Surg environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5, ensuring high-quality care and support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
- First-timers accepted for this role.
- Weekend availability required: Every other weekend.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Active RN license required prior to start date; pending licenses accepted.
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- RTO restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.
