We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry for a contract position in Rochester, NY. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling Details and Charting:

  • Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:00
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
  • Charting: EPIC experience required
  • RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission
  • Call off Policy: The facility may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.
  • Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must have an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
  • Required Certifications: BLS

Required Clinical Skills:

  • MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring & emergency response: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
  • Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management.
  • IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management, Isolation precautions.

Unit Details and Floating:

  • Ratios: 1:5
  • Floating: Will be required to float within skillset
  • Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
