As a child and adolescent unit for patients 5-18 years of age who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis, we are seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry. The unit focuses on stabilization through robust group offerings including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions. RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care.
Required:
- NYS RN License
- 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
- BLS AHA only
Preferred:
- CPI blue card
- Experience in a large academic medical center
