Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Salisbury, NC. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts in a supportive team setting.
Job Details:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required
- Traveler Experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers
- Work Setting Skills Required: MS/Tele
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias & use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills Required: Blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management & starting and maintaining IVs
- Respiratory Skills Required: Nasal cannula & non-invasive airway management
- Professional Topics and Skills Required: Isolation precautions/PPE
- Certifications Required: BCLS, NIH
- Preferred Skills/Certifications: Telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, OCN & chemo administration
- Target Ratios: 1-6, 36 beds
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to all areas holding Med-Surg patients; strong med-surg background required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
- Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis
- Scheduling Type: Per unit needs
- Unit Orientation: 24 hours
- Scrubs: Navy
