Join a leading healthcare organization as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Kingwood, WV. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in a 70-bed rural facility. This is a contract position with a night shift schedule, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and telemetry, with the ability to care for pediatric and adolescent patients as needed. You will work alongside LPNs on the night shift and may be floated to other units, including ICU, based on patient care needs. A House Supervisor is available for support 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Float to other units as necessary, including ICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, providing timely interventions as needed.
Requirements:
- Current RN License.
- 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care and telemetry.
- Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS.
- Certifications preferred: PALS.
- Ability to float to ER and ICU as needed.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus.

- Blocked schedule requests must be made upfront and will be discussed during the interview.
- Scrubs will not be provided; color is Burgundy.
