Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled RN to provide quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers a chance to work in a supportive team while enhancing your nursing career.
The position requires a commitment to working rotating shifts, including nights and days, with a focus on delivering exceptional care. You will have the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population as needed. The facility will do their best to honor travelers' preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate them if necessary to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
- MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
