Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will have the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population.
Shifts may vary based on operational needs, but we will do our best to honor your preferred schedule. The position requires a commitment to work at least every other holiday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
- Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments.
