Join a leading acute-care hospital in New Haven, CT, as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week contract. This position is specifically for winter coverage, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. We are looking for dedicated RNs who can start by 11/20/2026 and are available for every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in Med Surg/Telemetry.
- BLS certification required.
- Active RN license required prior to start date; pending licenses accepted.
- Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- No holiday requests off (RTO) allowed; no more than 5 days RTO permitted.
