Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg at a leading acute-care hospital in Zanesville, OH. This contract position offers the opportunity to work primarily on the 4 South Cardiac unit, with occasional floating to other Med-Surg areas, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
As an RN in this role, you will work 36 hours per week on the night shift (7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.), with every other weekend required. Please note that unless you are a returning traveler who has worked here within the past 9 months, the only available start date is November 16, 2026. There is no call requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the 4 South Cardiac unit.
- Float to other Med-Surg areas as needed.
- Proficiently read telemetry and complete a telemetry competency on day one.
Qualifications:
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required.
- Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory and must be clearly documented in your referral. Refresher training or 1:1 assistance will not be available.
- Hospital experience is required; submissions without hospital experience will not be considered.
