Join a leading healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Jaffrey, NH. This position offers a full-time, day shift schedule, primarily Monday through Friday. We are seeking local candidates who are ready to contribute to a supportive and professional environment.
The CMA/LVN/LPN will perform clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. This job description does not limit the duties to those listed; the employee may be required to follow additional instructions and perform other tasks as requested by their supervisor. A professional appearance, calm demeanor in stressful situations, a caring nature, and a genuine enjoyment of patient interactions are essential qualities for this role. Discretion and confidentiality regarding all matters related to the practice, its employees, and patients are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures within the scope of MA certification.
- Assist physicians in examinations, including taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in exam rooms.
- Handle patient phone calls as directed by the physician.
- Provide instructions to patients as instructed by the physician.
- Requisition supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Assist with medical record maintenance, including completing referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation as requested.
- Help patients move to and from exam rooms, prepare them for exams, and assist during procedures as needed.
- Collaborate as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Clinical Coordinator.
