We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Peterborough, NH. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a clinic setting. You will perform clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician, ensuring a professional and caring environment for our patients.
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Performing blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures pertinent to the practice and within the scope of MA certification.
- Assisting the physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Keeping exam rooms clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Managing patient phone calls as directed by the physician.
- Providing instructions to patients as instructed by the physician.
- Requisitions supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Assisting with the maintenance of medical records, including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other pertinent documentation.
- Helping patients to and from exam rooms and preparing them for exams and treatments.
- Assisting with any nursing procedures as directed by the physician.
- Working collaboratively as a member of a team and demonstrating flexibility in duties.
