Join a leading healthcare facility in Peterborough, NH, as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a dynamic clinic environment. This role is essential for providing clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures pertinent to the practice within the scope of MA certification.
- Assist the physician in examinations, including taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in exam rooms with necessary supplies.
- Manage patient phone calls as directed by the physician.
- Provide instructions to patients as instructed by the physician.
- Requisition supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Assist with the maintenance of medical records, including referral forms and lab slips.
- Help patients get to and from exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and treatments.
- Support nursing procedures as directed by the physician.
- Collaborate as a team member and remain flexible to assist in various areas as requested by management.
